My summer days are filled with driving my children to and from camp and deciding what to cook for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. As a busy mom of three daughters, I rarely get time to take pictures of them together, let alone high-quality photos. So, I was thrilled when Rachel of Forty Seven Moments Photography reached out to me for a photography session in partnership with Fairfield County Mom. This summer was the perfect time to capture candid images of my family. 
Rachel Henderson has owned Forty Seven Moments Photography for over 17 years and specializes in maternity, newborn, and family portraits. Her gorgeous studio is located in Bethel, Connecticut. She is a full-service photographer and offers a client wardrobe where she will style your family.
She makes it very easy by selecting outfits and dresses for your entire family. Prior to my session, I answered some questions to better help her style us. I have to say this process was amazing. To have someone pick out your clothes and coordinate the family was very helpful.
Forty Seven Moments also schedules hair and make-up for moms for the session. This was extremely helpful as this was one less thing I had to plan out. In my photography session, my beautiful hair and make-up were done by Joceyln of Love + Light Salon. Jocelyn’s salon is presently located in Norwalk as she is working on her dream salon in Wilton, Connecticut.
Rachel believes in the power of preserving memories by writing them down, photographing them, and sharing them with others. She loves helping moms tell their stories through photographs and is inspired by the beauty in light, nature, and simplicity, along with neutral tones and textures. 
As a mother of three, she knew how to capture the perfect poses with my family. She also had lots of patience which made me feel more relaxed. While my children stayed well-behaved, they did get a bit antsy waiting. Rachel was even prepared with some snacks and treats to offer them. She was also kind to lend a hand when my 6-month-old got a little fussy.
She made this experience stress-free for my entire family. I am happy to have these precious moments to treasure for years to come.
After my photography session, we arranged a viewing appointment that worked with my schedule. My viewing appointment was virtual, but she also can have you back to the studio. At this appointment, she shared the images with the edits that were photographed. There are many options to display your special memories. Her heirloom albums and frames are crafted in the US and are guaranteed to withstand any small fingers and time.
My experience with Forty Seven Moments Photography was well beyond my expectations. The finished photos speak for themselves. Rachel’s full-service photography was a one-of-a-kind experience, and her talent is brilliant. I am thankful to her for capturing these special moments and creating meaningful artwork of my family’s journey.
