Kids Eat Free (or almost free) in Fairfield County

kids eat freeI love going out to eat, mostly because I hate cooking! Being a working mama, dinner time is the most chaotic part of the day. I would much rather order takeout or go out to dinner, BUT with a family of five the cost really adds up! Especially since my ten-year-old and eight-year-old twins eat more than I do most of the time! That’s why I’m super excited to share some restaurants in Fairfield County where kids can eat for FREE (or almost free!).

bartaco – Stamford & Westport
This hot spot for grownups can be kid-friendly earlier in the evening. They offer a variety of food options for kids ranging in price from $1.50 – $6.

Bobby Valentine’s Sports Gallery Café – Stamford
The area’s favorite sports bar where kids eat free Monday-Friday with the purchase of an adult entree or burger. Open to kids 12 and under.

Denny’s – Danbury
An American diner that participates in the Kids Live Well campaign. Children can eat free every Tuesday from 4-10 p.m. You can also celebrate your kid’s birthday with a free “Grand Slam!”

Ninty Nine Restaurant & Pub – Danbury & Stratford
The perfect location to dine with your family, any time of year, and especially when the Red Socks win! Join 99 Rewards and receive a free kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal the day after the Boston Red Sox win.

Pippa’s Sports Café – Danbury
Wednesday night is Family Night! Kids eat free from the kids’ menu with the purchase of any 2 adult entrees any time between 5-8 p.m.

Viva Zapata – Westport
Why not treat yourself to a refreshingly delicious margarita after a long day? It’s even better when your kids, 6 years old and under, can order a free taco or enchilada per each adult entree ordered.

Do you know of a restaurant we should add to the list?

  1. Took the kids to Greenwood’s in Bethel for dinner last night. Kids do not eat free there on Tuesdays and they do not offer $5 kids meals other days. Just an FYI 🙂
