Founded by former model Jersey Banks and minor league hockey player Lyon Banks, this popular urban mountain lodge retreat is on 68 acres. The Catskills National Park surrounds it. It started with an outpost in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and has gone on to include outposts in Catskills, Nashville, and Denver. This family-friendly resort with a 23,000 sq foot spa and 14,000 sq foot horse stable is located in Middleburg, Virginia. It was designed and created by media mogul and BET co-founder Sheila Johnson. This bed and breakfast in Bedford Stuyvesant is the brainchild of husband and wife team Glenn Pogue and Monique Greenwood (former editor-in-chief at Essence magazine). Starting in 2003, it has expanded with locations in Philadelphia, DC, Cape MA, New Jersey, and the Poconos.
