The 12th Annual Health Wellness & Lifestyle Expo, with special thanks to Stamford Health, Exclusive Healthcare Partner, returns Saturday, September 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to Harbor Point, Stamford’s beautiful waterfront community.
The day starts at 10 a.m. with a welcome ceremony led by Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons. She will present a Proclamation declaring September 9 Stamford Health, Health & Wellness Day. This is to recognize Stamford Health and their commitment to this event for the twelfth consecutive year and their commitment to providing world-class healthcare to the greater Stamford community. The National Anthem will be sung, joined by a Color Guard presenting the US flag and CT state flag. We’ll recognize and celebrate the many sponsors and exhibitors who help make this event the largest health event in Connecticut and encourage us to live our best lives.
The eight zones of the expo will showcase a Pet Wellness Zone sponsored by Spot On Veterinary Hospital & Hotel; Yoga & Stretching Zone sponsored by Greenwich Psychology & Wellness, Group Fitness Zone sponsored by Sacred Heart University, Healthy Food Truck Zone; Healthy Food, Restaurants & Beverage Zone; Eco-Friendly Wine, Spirits, & Craft Beer Zone; the Kids Zone sponsored by Au Pair in America featuring fun activities in the sand pit area on Harbor Point’s Boardwalk; and a Pickleball America Zone where everyone can experience the many health benefits of this popular sport and the new Pickleball America opening at the Stamford Town Center.
For the twelfth year, Stamford Health is the Exclusive Healthcare Partner for the Health Wellness & Lifestyle Expo. This year’s on-site screenings and offerings include FREE blood pressure screenings, stroke care led by Stamford Health’s Neurosciences, heart health and CPR instruction with the Heart and Vascular Team and Stamford EMS for adults and children, Stop The Bleed Training provided by Stamford Health Trauma Program, book a mammogram with the Women’s Health Center, children’s nutritional education provided by KIDS FANS, important information from Sarner Health and Fitness Institute, and free Stamford Health giveaways!
Also joining the HWL Expo 2023 for the twelfth consecutive year is Grade A ShopRite, an invaluable Support Sponsor. The Kids Zone, sponsored by Au Pair in America, features fun activities in the sand pit area on Harbor Point’s Boardwalk. Enjoy crafts and face painting with Au Pair in America, fun games and activities with Stepping Stones Museum for Children, and technology and educational skills with Code Ninjas. Also, learn about the important work being done by HELP for KIDS and Kids Helping Kids. 
Pet owners, bring your dog to the Camp Bow Wow exhibit for a nail trim for only $10 (value of $30). Learn about financial health with the team from KeyBank. New this year, the Kids Helping Kids 5K Walk/Run for Good will help kick off the HWL Expo at 9:30 a.m. (registration is 8:30 a.m.) in Kosciuszko Park. All race refreshments and prizes will be available at the Kids Helping Kids and ShopRite exhibit areas on the boardwalk at the HWL Expo. Kids Helping Kids is a local organization that inspires youth-led service projects in their communities. Sign up today!
