More Than Just Good Coffee: Winfield Street Coffee

0

Last week I hosted the Fairfield County Moms Blog contributor team at my home for one of our biannual business meetings. 20+ mamas gathered together to share ideas and plan for a fantastic year ahead. As a busy mama working full-time during the day as a teacher and working full-time at night as the owner of two parenting resource websites (oh, and being a mom of 3!), I had no time for party planning!

Luckily Winfield Street Coffee in Stamford just opened up in the Ferguson Library, and they have begun to expand their catering business. All I had to do was call them and let them know I was expecting about 25 women for dinner, and they took care of the rest. It couldn’t have been easier! All I had to do was drive up (they even loaded up the car for me) and bring the food home! I put out some pretty paper plates and a few bottles of wine, and I was ready for a night spoiling my team!

Winfield Street Coffee was created to be a community gathering coffee place where guests can find a warm smile, excellent coffee, and creative food. And let me tell you, the food looked amazing and tasted delicious. They provided us with a beautiful antipasto platter, arugula salad, cold sandwich platter (I’m still dreaming about the pesto, mozzarella, tomato wedge), and a dessert platter. Something for everyone to enjoy!

In the store they partner with Counter Culture Coffee and serve salads, bowls, waffles, and pastries. They currently have three locations; Stamford, Westport, and Croton-On-Hudson. The Winfield brand started in 1925 in East Norwalk, and they continue to have the same principles that made the company last that long. They focus on community, wholesome food, and very good coffee. They sponsor numerous local events in the towns they are a part of and love to host events at their biggest location in Stamford.

Winfield Street Coffee is looking to ramp up catering sales. They specialize in drop-off catering items for meetings, birthday parties, company events, and other casual gatherings. Their best-sellers are the sandwich platter, antipasto platter, and the rice and edamame bowls. For breakfast, their best-sellers are the breakfast sandwiches and the scone platter.
