support local

Fairfield County Moms Blog is a local blog written for and by local moms. We strive to share local information about local events, programs, and businesses throughout Fairfield County. Do you see the common thread here?

We LOVE local, and our blog thrives off of local happenings and services.

We would not have the amazing communities we do without the wonderful local establishments in our towns. So our message today is, support local!

When you are too tired to cook AGAIN for the fifth night in a row (this was me last night), think local! When you need a NEW and fun activity for your kids, think local! When you want to go for a drive to get out of the house (curbside ice cream), think local! When you need a glass of wine to help you accept this new normal, think local!

We have been in touch with many local businesses, some current partners of ours, and they are still in business for us. Ways that you can support local include:
– Buying gift cards
– Shopping online (Easter is around the corner!)
– Visiting their social media pages and giving some love
– Curbside Pick-up
– Delivery
– Leaving positive reviews on Yelp or Google for the business

Here are a few we would like to share with you! Be sure to check your local mom’s groups on Facebook – there are A LOT of wonderful lists and comments going around with many ideas of local businesses to support!
