If you missed our first post (In the Bra Mood) about how much we love this place, you have been missing out! When the Fairfield County Moms Blog contributor team was offered a discount to come and shop one evening, we got the girls ready for some serious TLC and headed over to In the Mood Intimates in Fairfield. Shopping and wine seemed the perfect combination for a MNO and we couldn’t wait to get our shopping on!
The night began with some wine and conversations about what we were looking for. Even with the challenges of a comfortable strapless bra, a sports bra that could handle some serious kickboxing, and swimsuits that were appropriate for serious political conversation, we all managed to walk away satisfied!
With owner, Karen, we couldn’t help but feel comfortable talking about post nursing boob problems and underwear that stayed put. Karen is adamant about her store being a no-judgement zone, so everyone seemed to walk out of the dressing rooms feeling beautiful, no matter what their size. Speaking of sizing, Karen carries sizes up to 52L, so fear not! There is a bra to fit everyone.
Karen and her staff took the time to measure and educate each of our contributors about sizing and comfort. Having a little wine and snacks made us feel like we were chatting with girlfriends at someone’s home. There are lots of different sizes and coverage options, so whether you are in the market for an everyday bra or one for a special occasion, it’s probably hanging up somewhere in the store! We found great tanks and PJ’s as well as shapewear. To be honest, we probably could have spent another few hours in the store!
Needless to say, we will be back again! With such an impressive array of styles and colors for each season, there simply isn’t a reason to stay away. If you’re in the market for a new bra (and who isn’t?) you must check out this fantastic location. We are sure glad we did!
