A couple working with a doula.Twenty-two years ago, I came home from the hospital with a seven-pound, fifteen-ounce bundle of joy. AND I WAS TERRIFIED. I could barely comprehend how I was allowed to take this precious boy home and…and…be in CHARGE?

I’m happy to report that I managed and even thrived. Today that baby is a six-foot-tall college senior.

However, the lack of support, comfort, and calm that I felt in those early days as a brand new parent could have been easier and ultimately led me to pursue doula work. I wanted other mamas to benefit from the guidance, information, and support that I wish I had.

Birth and postpartum doula care has been my passion for fifteen years and eventually resulted in me becoming the owner of the agency I have been loyal to all these years.
