The Stroll Must Go On! 2020 marks the 12th Annual Greenwich Holiday Stroll. This year’s event, amidst the COVID pandemic, sets its sights on a new event for a new day. Event Director Tamara Ketler of TMK Event Marketing, the event creator who has been producing the Greenwich Holiday Stroll for 12 years, announces the first-ever Virtual Greenwich Holiday Stroll: 24 Days of Holiday Shopping and Dining. This year’s event features video highlights from Greenwich retail stores and restaurants throughout Greenwich, the Village of Old Greenwich, Byram, Glenville, Cos Cob, and Riverside, all sharing their holiday offers and services.
Over 100 merchants are participating in this year’s digital event, sharing their holiday merchandise, gift ideas, festive wares, services, signatures dishes, and celebratory cocktail recipes through fun and engaging videos broadcast on Greenwich Holiday Stroll multi-media digital platforms, greenwichmag.com, fairfieldcountylook.com, YouTube, and social media platforms.
Safe space in-store activations and restaurant offerings can be found @greenwichholidaystroll on Facebook and Instagram. And what would the holidays be like without music? The event will feature virtual Holiday Entertainment sponsored by Greenwich Hospital. Performances from local talent will be broadcast throughout the Virtual Greenwich Holiday Stroll, Dec 1-24. The 12th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival will feature Santa’s three Reindeer this year; Dasher, Dancer, and Vixen. Santa will be staying at the North Pole this year for all the children and their families’ health and safety.
