Another regular activity has fallen victim to COVID; Game Day! It just isn’t the same anymore, but have no fear! Let me introduce you to a fun, new, and exciting concept; Homegating! Bring tailgating to your very own couch, prepare the stadium-style snacks you crave, and cheer on your team in style!
Homegating allows you to experience the taste, smells, and sounds of the stadiums safely at home!
Unfortunately, our team (the New England Patriots) has not made the playoffs, but with the Big Game around the corner, I will still be planning a fun celebration with my family! My husband, daughters, and I will throw on our jerseys and get pumped up with our favorite country songs! I will prepare our favorite French Onion Dip, chili, and nachos. As the tradition stands, I will make homemade ice cream sandwiches for dessert!
Luckily my local Stop & Shop delivery services allowed me to stock up on all our essentials without ever leaving my house!
We have all had to change the way we watch sports. Instead of heading to the field or a friend’s party, we are watching from the comfort of our own home. Now, as a mom, I would be remiss if I didn’t state the obvious. Two dreaded words; clean up! Bounty towels, Dawn soap, and Swiffer pads make my life ten times easier when cleaning up the big mess. We play hard and clean hard!
