Fun 4th of July Desserts

0

4th of July dessertsI love cooking and baking (mostly with the Instant Pot), especially for holidays or certain themes. During the summer, no-bake desserts are a perfect choice when it is really hot out, and you don’t want the oven on. I wanted to share some fun and festive Fourth of July recipes that I found for this summer. These recipes include no-bake, bake, and some the kids can help with too!

No-Bake Recipes

Fourth of July Icebox Cake – This cake looks nice and refreshing without having any time in the oven. Also, it seems very kid-friendly!

Fourth of July Popsicles – These popsicles look really fun. The recipe gives instructions on how to make your own French vanilla ice cream too. If that’s too much, you can always buy your favorite brand to use. I bet it would also be good with lemon or coconut sorbet for a dairy-free option.

No-Bake Berry Cheesecakes – Adorable and delicious, a perfect dessert for a small party.

No-Bake Summer Berry Lasagna – This looks very fun and festive and great for a larger group.

Patriotic Oreo Pops – These Oreo pops look adorable, easy to decorate, and very easy to have the kids help with.

Red, White, & Blue Frozen Lemonade – This looks really refreshing and uses fresh fruit, which is always a plus!

Red, White, & Blue Strawberries – An easy recipe that uses fresh strawberries and is very kid-friendly.

Recipes That Need Baking

Best Ever Blueberry Cobbler – A nice cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is a perfect summer dessert. They are fairly easy to make too. Don’t be afraid to use peaches or strawberries either!

July 4th S’mores Dip – My kids love s’mores, so this looks perfect if it’s too hot for a fire to roast the marshmallows.

Red, White, & Blue Poke Cake – Even though you need to bake this one, using a yellow cake mix will help make this a quick dessert to put together. I’m sure the kids would love to help poke the holes in the cake too.

I can’t wait to try out some of these recipes this summer and have my kids help a bit now that they are at a good age to be helpful. Happy Summer!

Do you have a favorite easy go-to summer dessert?  We’d love to know what it is!
