Let’s Taco-Bout It! {FCMB’s Favorite Taco and Margarita Spots!}

tacos and margaritas

We wish that we could live every day like it’s Taco Tuesday! And who doesn’t like a delicious margarita to go along with it? This round-up is our favorite by far, it got us so excited to go out for a date night, mom’s night out or family dinner! Here are the FCMB contributor’s favorite taco and margarita joints!

Geronmino Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill {Fairfield}

The Geronimo’s margarita and spicy blood orange margarita are the best around! The tortilla soup, skirt steak entre, homemade guacamole, and any of the tacos are fan favorites!

Bodega {Fairfield & Darien}

You cannot go wring with ANY taco on the menu! They can all be turned into chopped salads or served on lettuce cups as well. The blistered brussel sprouts are a must! Other favorites are their duck nachos, crab guacamole (and regular guacamole), the three-side feature, beets, corn on the cob, fried plantains The Rosarita, Watermelon Margarita and Skinny Boy Margarita. Everything is delicious!

Senior Salsa {Fairfield and Westport}

Delicious, fresh, and quick meals! Great for take-out (it’s a go-to for beach dinners)! They have a salsa and chip bar with a lot of fun options!

Rio Bravo {Fairfield & Westport}

A great family-friendly restaurant. Their French tacos, Gringo tacos, Chicken Mango Quesadilla, and Veggie Fajitas are really yummy! The chips and salsa are simple and delicious. No name margaritas on Thursdays are $5!

Malibu Taco {Fairfield}

They JUST opened in the Brickwalk. Their tacos are fun and delicious (can be served as a lettuce cup which is a great option) and they have unique guacamole options (the bacon corn is the best)! The Spicy Watermelon Margarita was delicious. There were so many fun things on the menu – can’t wait to try them again!

Taco Loco {Bridgeport}

A funky little restaurant with authentic Mexican food. The quesadillas and fajitas are fantastic! They also have a party truck!

Viva Zapata {Westport}

A classic restaurant that has been around for a LONG time (50 years to be exact – my parents used to go there!). Their margaritas are delicious and they have many varieties. You can’t go wrong with any meal, but my favorite is the taco salad! Kids can eat free (from a specific menu) with each adult entrée!

Bar Taco {Westport, Stamford & Portchester}

Great for families during the day! Delicious seared swordfish, crisy rock shrimp, and pork belly tacos! The guacamole is a must-try along with the grilled corn (ask for it off the cob)! The Bartaco Margarita is the best!
