Most have re-opened with limited taproom hours and various outdoor seating options. Also, most breweries are family-friendly, but there are some which are only 21+, so please plan accordingly.

Since jumping around to all the various breweries can be challenging as a parent, another option is to head to a restaurant where you can sample various beers all in one place. Here are a few of our favorite Fairfield County spots, which offer an excellent selection of craft beers.

Coalhouse Pizza: Stamford

Craft 14 Kitchen and Bar: Wilton

Craft 260: Fairfield

Hub and Spoke: Bridgeport

Little Pub: Fairfield/Stratford

Sedona Taphouse: Norwalk

Sitting Duck Tavern: Oxford, Stratford, Trumbull

Emma is a stay-at-home mom to her identical twin daughters, Charlotte and Grace (born March 2016) and her son Crosby (born July 2019). She currently resides in Fairfield with her children and her husband Mike. Emma is originally from northeastern CT and worked and lived in Stamford and New York City as an attorney until her daughters were born. Though she misses certain aspects of city life, there really is no better place then living by the beach. When she is not being hounded for snacks or trying to pry her kids off the highest point of the playground, she enjoys going out with friends, trying new restaurants on date nights, binging Bravo and staying active.

  1. I like that you’re writing about mommyhood in contexts apart from strict “mothering.” Great to read “date night” type articles!
