Weston is a mostly residential town in Fairfield County, approximately 45 miles outside New York City. It was originally Norfield Parish when settlers came from Fairfield in 1757, and it consisted of Easton and Weston. The two towns eventually split in 1845. Weston is surrounded by other great towns, such as Easton, Fairfield, Redding, Westport, and Wilton. Weston is also considered a “sister” town to Westport, which affords the residents to use Westport amenities for a nominal fee. Though there is little commercial development in Weston, there are several highlights of this quaint town.

1. The Lunch Box

There are two great spots to get your food in Weston, and The Lunch Box is one of them. The Lunch Box is a locally owned restaurant in Weston town center that offers an expansive menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

2. Lily’s Weston Market

This year, Lily’s Weston Market will replace Peter’s Weston Market and will be another full-service grocery store that offers catering, baked goods, premade meals, and a soup and salad bar. It is also the anchor store for the shops in Weston town center. They are expected to open in the fall of 2021.

3. Weston Pharmacy

Weston Pharmacy will replace Lang’s, a small independent pharmacy. It will offer convenient pharmacy hours and great gifts. They also will sell cosmetics, perfumes, and toiletry items. They are also expected to open in fall 2021.

4. LaChat Town Farm

LaChat Town Farm is a beautiful farm on Godfrey Road West. The farm hosts community gardens and a monthly farmers’ market. The farmers’ market brings in several different farms, food trucks, goods, and live music. They run from June through October. They also have a special holiday market in December. A variety of classes and programs for adults and children alike are offered throughout the year, ranging from art to yoga to pickling. There is something for everyone!
