When I think of Volvo, I have the image of the older model Volvo wagons from my childhood in the 80s and 90s. Well, that has all changed after cruising in the new 2022 Volvo XC90 from Riley Volvo Stamford for the weekend.
With three small kids, what’s important to me is safety, space for all our stuff, and comfort. This car has it all.
At first glance, the Volvo XC90 is absolutely stunning!
Beyond its good looks, I was so impressed with all the safety features the car offers. With three rows and my oldest all the way in the back, I loved knowing exactly when the seatbelts were buckled. The diagram on the dash allows you to see which seats are occupied and then shows when the seatbelts are safely buckled.
Another top-notch feature was the large screen and backup camera. I have come to rely on my backup camera when driving my own car, and I loved how large the screen was and how clear the camera was on the Volvo.
I think it’s safe to assume that as a mom, you leave the house with your arms full of kids, bags, and water bottles! The cup holders held beverages for all family members and had a few to spare.
When the third row was folded down, the trunk space was enormous! There is plenty of room for a full grocery haul, luggage for a road trip, or our four-legged buddy, Norm.
Comfort, safety, and absolutely stunning inside and out!
